dc.description.abstract | Anatolian traditional housing architecture is an important part of our architecturalhistory with its architectural features and design principles. The buildings are arranged in planfiction, living, and service units, as a whole within themselves. Kula traditional residencesreflect the architectural features of the “Turkish House” or the “Ottoman House” with itslocation in the center of Anatolia. The buildings were built from the beginning of the 17thcentury until the beginning of the 20th century. However, the traditional architecture of theprocess from the late 18th to the early 20th century has reached today. When looking at thetraditional houses in Anatolia in terms of planning architectural elements, it can be said that twobasic elements are at the forefront. These are "rooms" and "halls" which are common areasbetween rooms. Within the scope of the study, the design fiction of the rooms and halls ofAnatolian traditional housing was examined. Also, evaluations regarding Kula houses, rooms,and sofa connections have been made. | |
