Hashimoto Ensefalopatisi: Üç Olgu Sunumu
Abstract
Hashimoto\'s encephalopathy is a disease associated with antithyroid antibodies, which is rare autoimmune with neu- roendocrine and neuropsychiatric symptoms and clinical findings..The disease characterized by generalize or fokal EEG slowing, elevated cerebrospinal fluid protein level, the presence of antithyroid antibodies are in cerebrospinal fluid and elevated antithyroid antibodies titration in sera respond to treatment with corticosteroid supports diagnosis. Three cases has been presented with the findings of neuropsychiatric symptoms, elevated antithyroid antibody titra- tion in sera and presence of antithyroid antibodies are in cerebrospinal fluid and complete response to steroid therapy. Other factors should be considered in the differential diagnosis of this clinical picture and after the investigations can be excluded . Hashimoto\'s encephalopathy is a rare disorder, here we emphasize the importance of the differential diagnosis especially the neuropsychiatric-cognitive aspects of the disease.
