dc.description.abstractThe current paper presents the thermomechanical exergy and thermoeconomic analysis of geothermal district heating systems (GDHSs) in Turkey. The case studies cover the actual system data taken from the systems in Afyon, Gonen, and Salihli GDHSs, Turkey. General energy and exergy analysis of the GDHSs are introduced. Then the analysis applied to these GDHSs using actual thermodynamic data for their performance evaluations in terms of energy and exergy efficiencies are presented. Besides, thermoeconomic evaluations of GDHSs are given in tables.
